Yoke Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Yoke ("Yoke", "we", "us") is a social videoke service available on the web, iOS and Android. It is operated by QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, 2F BF Building, Alternate Road, Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines 4500, email info@queaytech.com.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES. They work together with our:

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box, or using Yoke, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Yoke.

2. What Yoke does

Yoke lets a host open a private room, invite friends with a code or link, pick songs, and sing together over a live video and voice call. Up to 8 people can be in a room. Songs are YouTube videos played in YouTube's official embedded player. The live call runs on Agora's real-time network.

There is no public room directory and no random matching. You only meet people you invite or who invite you.

3. Eligibility: 18+ only

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Yoke. You confirm your birth year when you set up your profile.
• You must be able to enter into a binding contract under Philippine law and must not be barred from using Yoke under any applicable law.
• You must not have been banned from Yoke before.

If we learn or reasonably believe that a user is under 18, we will close the account. See our Child Safety Standards.

4. Your account

• You can sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or a one-time code sent to your email.
• Give accurate information, including your real birth year. Choose a display name that follows the Community Guidelines.
• Keep access to your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at info@queaytech.com if you think someone else is using it.
• One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• You can delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.

5. Credits (summary)

The full rules are in Credits, Payments & Refunds. In short:

• Searching, queueing and playing songs is always free. Credits pay only for the live video call.
• 1 credit = 1 person connected to a room's video call for 1 minute. The host's credits pay for everyone in the room.
• Anyone in the room can chip in credits to the room's Ambag pot. The pot is spent first. Unspent pot credits go back to the people who chipped in, in proportion to what they gave, when the room ends.
• Credits are virtual. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and do not expire.
• You see the price and the number of credits before you pay.
• Deleting your account forfeits any credits left in it.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• share nudity or sexual content, or any content that sexualises or endangers a minor;
• harass, bully, threaten, or promote hate or violence against anyone;
• record, screen-capture, or rebroadcast other people's video or voice without their consent;
• impersonate anyone, spam, scam, or use Yoke for anything illegal;
• break or test the security of Yoke, scrape it, overload it, reverse-engineer it (except where the law allows), or get around limits, bans or blocks;
• use bots or automated means to create accounts, join rooms, or use credits;
• use Yoke for any commercial purpose (such as running a paid videoke business) without our written permission.

7. Your content and live calls

• What counts as your content: your display name, room titles, songs you add to a queue, reports and feedback you send, and what you show or say on a live call.
• You own your content. You give QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit and display it only as needed to run Yoke for you and the people in your rooms, and to keep Yoke safe.
• Live audio and video are not recorded or stored by Yoke. They pass through Agora's network in real time to the people in your room. Other people can still see and hear you live, so only share what you are comfortable sharing.
• You are responsible for your content and must have the right to share it.
• We may remove or block content, remove people from rooms, or limit accounts to enforce these Terms and keep people safe.

8. YouTube

Yoke uses YouTube API Services to search for songs and plays them in YouTube's embedded player. By using Yoke, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. See also the YouTube section of our Privacy Policy.

• We never charge you to watch or play YouTube videos. Credits pay only for the live video call.
• Songs are provided by YouTube and their uploaders, not by us. A song may be unavailable, removed, or blocked in your country at any time.
• YouTube may show its own ads in its player. We do not control or earn from those ads.
• Yoke is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

9. Third-party services

Yoke depends on other companies to work, including Agora (live video and voice), PayMongo (web payments), Apple and Google (in-app purchases and sign-in), Meta/Facebook (sign-in), Google/YouTube (sign-in, song search and playback), Hostinger (hosting) and an email delivery provider. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose them carefully. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

10. Our intellectual property

Yoke's software, design, logo and name belong to QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES or its licensors and are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293) and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Yoke under these Terms. Songs and music videos belong to their rights holders. See Copyright & Trademarks.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Yoke running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by Philippine law, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394), we do not promise that Yoke will always be available, error-free, or that every song will be playable. Call quality depends on your device and internet connection. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by Philippine law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of Yoke.
• We are not liable for what other users say or do, or for the content of YouTube videos.
• Our total liability to you for any claim about Yoke is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 12 months before the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under Philippine law.

13. Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to compensate QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES for losses and reasonable legal costs caused by your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of another person's rights or the law.

14. Suspension and termination

• You may stop using Yoke and delete your account at any time.
• We may warn you, remove you from rooms, suspend, or permanently ban your account if you break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, if required by law, or to protect users or Yoke.
• Credits in a banned account for a serious violation (for example fraud, chargeback abuse, or child safety violations) may be forfeited. Otherwise, contact us about remaining credits.
• You can appeal an enforcement decision by emailing info@queaytech.com with the subject "Appeal".
• We may stop offering Yoke. If we do, we will give reasonable notice in the app and explain what happens to unused credits.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version has a date (this one is 2026-10-09). If we make a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email and ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Yoke. If you do not accept, you may stop using Yoke and delete your account.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792), which recognises electronic agreements such as this one. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the proper courts of Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to bring a complaint before the Department of Trade and Industry or another competent agency.

17. General

• If a part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a right right away, we have not given it up.
• You may not transfer these Terms to someone else. We may transfer them as part of a reorganisation or sale of Yoke, with notice to you.
• These Terms, together with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about Yoke.
