App: Yoke · Developer: QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
Summary
- Yoke has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Yoke is for adults 18+ only. Rooms are private and invite-only.
- Report concerns in the app with "Report a safety concern" (in Account and in every room) or email info@queaytech.com.
- We review reports with a target of 24 hours, remove violating content and accounts, preserve evidence, and report to Philippine authorities and NCMEC as applicable.
1. Our standard
QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES prohibits any use of Yoke to sexually abuse or exploit children. This includes, without limitation:
- creating, showing, sharing, or requesting child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAM or CSAEM), whether real, drawn or computer-generated;
- grooming, enticing, or soliciting a child for sexual purposes;
- sexualising minors in any way, including in display names, room titles or song choices;
- sextortion or threatening a child;
- trafficking or offering children for sexual purposes; and
- livestreaming or facilitating the online sexual abuse or exploitation of children (OSAEC).
These standards apply on top of our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
2. Adults only
- Yoke is only for people 18 years old and over. Every user declares their birth year before using Yoke, and accounts under 18 are refused.
- Rooms are private and joined only by invite. There is no public directory, no stranger matching, and no random chat.
- If we learn or reasonably suspect that a user is under 18, we close the account.
- Song search uses YouTube's strict SafeSearch, and display names and room titles go through an automatic filter.
3. How to report
- In the app: tap "Report a safety concern", available in Account and in every room. Choose "Minor safety" to flag a concern about a child. You can also report a specific person from inside a room.
- By email: info@queaytech.com, subject "Child safety".
- Directly to authorities: you can also report to the Philippine National Police Women and Children Protection Center, the National Bureau of Investigation, or the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (1343 Actionline), or internationally to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.
4. How we respond
- Review: reports about child safety are prioritised. Our target is to review them within 24 hours.
- Remove: when we have actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on Yoke, we remove the content, end the room if needed, and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- Preserve: we preserve relevant account, room and report data as required by law so that it can be given to authorities.
- Report: we report to the appropriate Philippine authorities (such as the PNP Women and Children Protection Center, the NBI, or the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking) as required by Republic Act No. 11930, and to the NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable.
- Cooperate: we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
Yoke does not record live calls. We act on the information in reports, account and room data, and any evidence provided to us.
5. Compliance with law
We comply with child safety laws that apply to Yoke, including the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act (Republic Act No. 11930), the Cybercrime Prevention Act (Republic Act No. 10175), and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Our duties under RA 11930 include removing or blocking CSAEM, preserving evidence, and reporting to authorities.
