1. How songs work on Yoke

• When you search for a song, Yoke asks YouTube for matching public, embeddable videos.
• Songs play in YouTube's official embedded player, from YouTube's servers, with YouTube's branding shown.
• Yoke does not host, copy, download, cache, record, or separate the audio or lyrics of any video. We store only the video ID, title, channel name and thumbnail link needed to build the room's queue.
• When a video is removed or blocked on YouTube, it stops playing on Yoke too.
• Live calls are not recorded, so Yoke does not keep any performance of a song.

2. Copyright in YouTube videos

If you believe a YouTube video infringes your copyright, please use YouTube's own process, because YouTube hosts the video and can remove it everywhere: Submit a copyright removal request on YouTube.

3. Content hosted by Yoke

Yoke hosts a small amount of content: display names, room titles, song queue entries (titles and thumbnails as returned by YouTube), and our own app content. If you believe any of this infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to us.

Takedown notice

Email info@queaytech.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

1. your name, address, phone number and email;
2. a description of the copyrighted work or trademark you own, or are authorised to act for;
3. where the material appears on Yoke (for example the room code, display name, or a screenshot);
4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and
6. your physical or electronic signature.

We will review the notice, remove or disable the material if it appears to infringe, and tell the user involved. We act in line with the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, email us with the subject "Copyright counter-notice", explain why, and include your contact details and signature. We may forward it to the person who sent the original notice and may restore the content unless they show us they have started legal action.

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or ban accounts that repeatedly infringe other people's rights.

4. Yoke's own rights

The Yoke name, logo, app design and software belong to QUEAY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES or its licensors. Please do not use them without permission. See the Terms of Service. Repeat infringement is also a breach of our Community Guidelines.

5. Trademarks of others

• YouTube and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC.
• Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
• Facebook is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
• Agora is a trademark of Agora Lab, Inc.
• GCash, Maya, PayMongo and other payment names are trademarks of their owners.

Yoke is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google, or by any of the other companies named above. Their names are used only to describe how Yoke works.
